With an extensive lineup of live music and delicious fair food, plus a wide selection of exhibitions, rides, games, shows, activities, and more, the San Diego County Fair won't disappoint!

The 2026 San Diego County Fair will feature a wide range of entertainment, offering something to see and do for guests of all ages.

Here are a few of my favorites that are on my radar to check out this year.

• Asian/Pacific Islander Festival

My best advice is to check the fair website when you know what day you're going. You'll find a detailed list of what's happening for that day so that you don't miss a thing!

Live Music

Live music is always a big part of the fair experience. This year, you'll have a full lineup of performances at the Toyota Summer Concert Series, the Chevrolet Paddock Concert Series, and Summer Nights at the Sound.

There will be some big-name headliners set to perform like Demi Lovato, Marshmello, and Chicago, just to name a few. Personally, I'm looking forward to the Chicago show!

Comedian Gabriel 'Fluffy' Iglesias

The fair also recently announced that comedian Gabriel 'Fluffy' Iglesias will be performing live on June 18th. He's bound to bring in the crowds!

If you love fair rides and games, or maybe your kids love rides and games, the 2026 San Diego County Fair will have you covered with more than 70 different options. Some of the highlights include:

You Won't Go Hungry

Fair food is some of the best and most fun food around, wouldn't you agree? There are always favorites like funnel cakes and kettle corn. But the unique food vendors are a must too! I especially love Chicken Charlie's and highly recommend a visit!

There will also be some food discounts I want to tell you about. The fair's website lists $15 meal deals, Foodie Fridays, and a Passport to Savings. The $5 Passport to Savings offers coupons for food, rides, souvenirs, and much more.

There's also a Fair-tastic Food Competition where award-worthy items will be offered for 1/2 PRICE from 11:00am until 4:00pm on Fridays all fair long.

With the 2026 San Diego Fair now just a few days away as of the writing of this article, below are just a few more things you'll want to know before you go so you can have the best time possible!

Where Can I Park?

There will be paid parking inside and right outside the gates, as well as a free parking option at Torrey Pine High School, with a shuttle to the main entrance.

You can buy General or Preferred Parking online at least 24 hours in advance, and SAVE $5! Onsite, parking will be payable by credit or debit only (no cash). If you don't choose the free option, you can reserve in advance and expect to pay $20 for general parking or $55 for preferred park.

Will There be Handicap-Accessible Parking?

Handicap-accessible parking will be available in the main lot on a first-come, first-served basis. Wheelchair and scooter rentals will also be available. Service dogs are always welcome.

Can You Bring Food or Water to the San Diego County Fair?

You can bring a small cooler with food and snacks as long as you don't have any glass, alcoholic beverages, or sharp utensils.

You can also bring water to the fair, but it has to be in a sealed, store-bought bottle. If you would prefer, you can bring an empty, refillable bottle.
