The 2026 Ocean Beach Street Fair & Chili Cook-Off will offer a wide variety of entertainment and events, especially if you're a music lover.
What is the Main Entertainment at the OB Street Fair?
With so much to do and see at the OB Street Fair it can be hard to put your finger on the main entertainment. Some people would surely say it's the food or of course the chili. Others might say the 'shopping' or 'the art'.
I love the live music! You'll be able to get comfy and enjoy two stages of music. From acoustic to rock and blues, there will absolutely be something for everyone.
I'm hoping to catch the Electric Waste Band myself but with two stages and 15 total performances, I'm sure the whole day of live music will be a real treat!
Let's take a look at this year's amazing musical lineup.

Art, Shopping, Eating & More!
Beyond the musical entertainment, the 2026 OB Street Fair will also offer plenty of other activities so you can pack your day full of fun!
Street Fair Community Mural
You'll once again be able to express your creative side in 2026 by painting a square on one of three OB community mural projects. Open to San Diego residents and guests of all ages, this may be the year that I get in on the action myself!
The murals will be located on Bacon Street, just south of Newport. All materials will be provided for $30 per square and go on sale at 10:00am. After the street fair, the murals will be sealed and installed in the community.
So, your artwork will be on display! Pretty cool, don't you think?
Merchant & Food Vendor Market
While the weekly OB Farmer's Market, one of San Diego's many incredible farmers markets, normally takes place on Wednesday's between 4:00pm and 8:00pm, the OB Street Fair will offer an incredible marketplace of its own.
With booths along Abbott St., Bacon St. and Cable St. you'll find an eclectic variety of vendors offering arts, crafts, food and more! Some of my favorite vendors from past years have sold fresh flowers, plants, local produce, freshly baked breads, desserts, honey, kombucha and hot food.
Artists Alley
A huge part of the vendor area, 'Artist Alley' located on Cable Street will include 70 booths offering everything from local and regional handmade jewelry and one-of-a-kind paintings, to ceramics, clothing and more!
There will also be an opportunity to watch live demonstrations and interact with artists from the area. For me, this part of the event is uniquely 'Ocean Beach' and something I really enjoy.
Family Fun Zones
If the 2026 Family Fun Zones are like year's past, then they won't disappoint!
With one setup between Target and Shore Thing Pet Supply and the other between Wings Army and Krisp, your kids may be able to enjoy inflatables, crafts, Rock & Roll San Diego and Paper Moon Music lessons, the Rad Hatter, and more.
Ocean Beergarden
Get ready to enjoy cold brews and ocean views at this year's Beachside Ocean Beer Garden!
Located right next to the Sunset Stage, this 21+ event will feature beer and mixed drinks as well as seltzers, shots, and more! Two-for-one drinks will be available early from 11:00am until 1:00pm.
You'll also be able to check out the beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean at the Skybar and take a wild ride on the mechanical bull, a new addition in 2026!
