The temperate, comfortable water has given this beach an alternate name of Warm Waters Beach by locals and visitors alike. The normal length of waves at the beach is 150 to 450 feet, while on a good day wave length is classed as long, ranging from 450 to 900 feet depending on the particular day. When it comes to wave frequency, breaks should be expected. On average, waves can be described as fast and powerful, which is why experienced surfers are best suited to these surf conditions.
