While the design, décor and overall feel will welcome you into the evening, the dining experience is what will get you to stay and enjoy!
Setting the Table
I'd ask you to look through my photos of the tables here because I think my pictures from last year's event say 1000 words. I'd call the table setup 'luxury, contemporary & chic', or just absolutely stunning with a very fall and Thanksgiving feel.
With name tags, candles and a greenery adorning each table, that's where the excitement of the 'culinary adventure' really begins!
A Memorable Culinary Experience
As the evening gets started, the crowd will be introduced to their first of about eight local celebrity chefs that will be featured throughout the event. Chefsgiving 2025 also featured a local San Diego DJ, a true professional when it comes to being the MC for the evening. I expect the same for this year's event.
The chefs will come out, introduce themselves and say which restaurant they are from. At that point they'll talk a bit about their dish and then you'll get to try it for yourself!
Let's Focus on the Food
Literally everything I got to eat last year was absolutely delicious! Meals were served family style on the tables but don't worry, there was always plenty to go around.
I found that the dishes all complimented each other quite well, making for one beautiful meal. The selections were mostly fall and Thanksgiving themed, which made a lot of sense. I would guess too that each chef took on a dish that they knew they could make really well because again, this felt like a 5-star culinary experience.
After an evening of delicious food and drinks, we walked away with multiple restaurant ideas to try in the months ahead!
And What About the Drinks?
On a night as classy as this, you didn't think they would forget the drinks did you?
In addition to the delicious spread of food and welcome champagne, you'll also find a fully stocked cash bar complete with everything from top shelf liquors to soft drinks. It's worth noting that the food will be served with a selection of curated wine pairings which I think is a really nice touch!
