The Provisional Kitchen at the Pendry San Diego is one of our founder Todd's favorite restaurants. It sits in one of the city's most charming neighborhoods, the Gaslamp Quarter.
While a bit on the pricey side, our team all agrees that the décor and design are refined and modern, and the food is absolutely delicious!
Their weekly brunch is excellent, so I'm confident in saying that their Easter brunch should be an over-the-top treat! Set for Easter morning, April 5th, from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm, Chef Brandon Sloan has put together a menu of brunch classics, plus a carving station and seasonal cocktails. The kids can also expect a visit from the Easter Bunny!
I instantly noticed the Build-Your-Own Parfait and the Chocolate Fountain. For an entrée, the Easter Omelet with spring peas, ham, goat cheese, and pea tendril sounds delicious. It also happens to be gluten-free.
The chef didn't forget the kids either, as Easter brunch is a family affair. Highlights from the kids' menu include the Peep Pancake, Egg-cellent Sausage Muffin Sandwich, and the Hoppity French Toast.
At Todd's request, we added brunch at The Provisional Kitchen at the Pendry San Diego to our Complete Guide to All the Holidays as a featured Easter brunch you won't want to miss.
Prices for the 2026 event will be $105 for adults and $34 for kids. Reservations are required.
Stay for Easter Weekend
For this location, the hotel recommendation is a no-brainer as the restaurant lives inside the Pendry Hotel.
It's just blocks from PETCO Park in Downtown San Diego. As one of only a few 5-star hotels in San Diego, you can expect well-appointed rooms and suites, plus a rooftop pool, six bars, and of course, The Provisional Kitchen restaurant!
