All-Inclusive Pass
The Go City San Diego All-Inclusive pass is a great choice for families looking to maximize their savings. With this pass, you and your family will get UNLIMITED admissions to more than 40 attractions and experiences.
There are varying options which include 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7 day passes that will help you save up to 50% versus standard gate prices! I suggest starting bright and early so you can fit in as much exploration as possible while still giving yourself time to enjoy everything.
With the All-Inclusive pass you and your family will get to visit a number of the top San Diego attractions. Many of these are among my favorites, like the San Diego Natural History Museum, Fleet Science Center, and the USS Midway Aircraft Carrier Museum.
That said, not every experience is available on this pass, with some major attractions like the zoo and safari park only available with other versions of the Go City pass. Still, there are tons of options outside of the big-name parks that are well worth a visit!
Consider purchasing your passes in advance of your trip and use our additional discount to save even more on top of the Go City San Diego pass discounted prices. Just make sure to enter ‘GVSD5OFF’ in the Promo Code box while you are checking out on the Go City website.
Buying passes in advance of your trip is a no risk option because Go City San Diego pass includes a 30-day full refund policy for non-activated All-Inclusive passes! Just make sure to start your pass within two years of the purchase date or it will expire.
The only exception is that certain attractions require you to book a reservation before visiting, but we’ve noted these attractions below so you can stay informed when planning your trip.

All-Inclusive Pass Plus
Brand new in 2025 is the All-Inclusive Pass Plus, which expands on the already great All-Inclusive Pass to let you explore even more amazing attractions and activities. I think this pass is the best way to get the most out of your San Diego vacation and that’s why it’s the first option that I personally recommend to my friends and family.
In addition to every experience available with the standard All-Inclusive Pass, this deluxe version adds five more, these being the best-known attractions in the city. With this pass, you can visit the world-famous San Diego Zoo, SeaWorld San Diego, LEGOLAND California, Knott’s Berry Farm, and the San Diego Zoo Safari Park, all at your leisure.
As I said above, this is my preferred pick, as it lets you do the most and gives you greater flexibility, alongside being the best possible bang for your buck if you want to do two or more things each day of your trip.
And don’t forget to use ‘GVSD5OFF’ as your promo code when checking out to get your additional discount!
The All-Inclusive Pass Plus comes in options as budget-friendly as 1 day of fun or as jam-packed as 7 days of city exploration, with prices as follows:
- 1 Day Pass (Adult) - $169

- 2 Day Pass (Adult) - $229

Essentials Pass
I recommend the Essentials pass for vacationers or locals who want to explore a few specific attractions. It’s not quite as expansive as the All-inclusive pass, but you still get to choose from the best of the best, making it a “greatest hits” pass perfect for more laid-back trips.
Rather than granting unlimited access for each day of the pass, the Essentials Pass lets you pick 3 different activities. This includes one of San Diego’s premiere attractions — choose from the San Diego Zoo, San Diego Zoo Safari Park, SeaWorld San Diego, LEGOLAND California, or Knott’s Berry Farm — PLUS two additional attractions from the 12 most popular experiences from the All-Inclusive Pass list. You don’t have to choose which attractions or activities you want to do when you buy the pass as you can pick them later.
Popular Essentials Pass attractions include the Best of the Bay Cruise, Whale Watching tours, the Maritime Museum of San Diego, Belmont Park Attraction passes, admission to the Birch Aquarium at Scripps which is one of my family’s favorite attractions in San Diego, Petco Park tours, and more!
Once you start the pass, which means you have activated by visiting an attraction or taking part in an activity, you will have 30 days to use the rest of each pass. The pass must be started within two years from its date of purchase but rest assured knowing that any non-activated passes are fully refundable within 30 days of the purchase date!
Keep in mind that you’ll only be able to pick one of the five major parks on the list to visit with your pass. So, for example, you could see either the San Diego Zoo or the San Diego Zoo Safari Park, but you won’t be able to see both with a single pass.
Can’t decide which zoo themed attraction to visit? We’ve got you covered with our San Diego Zoo and Safari Park comparison guide.
You can once again use our discount code GVSD5OFF when you purchase your Essentials pass. Just again be sure to enter it in the Promo Code box at checkout.
Current pricing for the Essentials Go City San Diego pass is as follows:
- 3 Choice Pass (Adult) - $169
- 3 Choice Pass (Kid) - $149
Just remember to be sure to double check directly with Go City San Diego before you book as prices are subject to change.
