Classic Car at Belmont Park
The Beachside Fall Fest taking place on weekends in September and October will feature music, limited-time food and drink options, family-friendly activities like face painting and more!
There are also a few really awesome special events planned that you won’t want to miss!
The 5th Annual Trunk-or-Treat Car Show
On October 26th, kids (and adults!) will have the chance to satisfy their sweet tooth while admiring more than 50 classic cars.
There will be candy stations throughout the park and the show, so make sure to mark your calendar!
Musical Entertainment
Fall Fest’s main performances are its weekly Pumpkin Jams.
You can enjoy live entertainment at the heart of the park with music shows and characters on the main festival stage. A different set of bands will perform every weekend throughout the event!
The lineup of bands and live musicians provides the backing track to a day of fun by the seaside. You can plan to enjoy the music as you walk around, but it’s also well worth swinging by the Fall Fest Stage in the midway area of the park to join the crowd.
Paint & Sip
Get ready to unleash your inner Picasso at the Paint & Sip event on October 21st from 6:00 until 8:30pm at the Belmont Park Coaster Terrace.
You can create a Frida Kahlo-inspired masterpiece (or perhaps at least something close) while you snack and sip on a nice glass of wine. Tickets are currently available on the official Belmont Park website for $45 per person and include all of the paint supplies, one glass of wine, and snacks.
The Belmont BeerFest
The Belmont BeerFest is back for the second year and I am really looking forward to attending.
On Sunday, October 26th, you can join me in tasting beers from over 20 local breweries that will be in attendance. The $35 All You Can Drink Wristband includes unlimited pours and can be purchased online.
You can also enjoy live music at the event as well as some hilarious gourd games. I personally can’t wait for these!
The Dipper Dash
The Dipper Dash, Belmont Park’s third annual 5K, will kick off on September 21st at 8:00am. You can run, jog, or stroll as you take in all of Mission Beach’s amazing views. Each participant will receive a complimentary wristband for park rides, a complimentary drink ticket, and more.
The event will support Team Parker for Life, a non-profit that helps to fight childhood cancer. You can register for the race here.
Did Someone Say Food?
If you’re anything like me, you like to eat! I think the food vendors are half the fun at any event, and this fall celebration has plenty to choose from, no matter what you’re craving. You can plan to find stands run by local restaurants, bakeries, and even coffee shops.
From seasonal treats like pumpkin spice churro fries and specialty fudge to tried-and-true fair staples like burgers and funnel cakes, I can promise you that you won’t leave hungry. Don’t forget the caramel apples! Our team at Go Visit San Diego really loves them!
