Christine Dayton is a copywriting professional who enjoys sharing her favorite travel tips with other travel enthusiasts. Her family of five has lived in several East Coast cities. This year, they are relocating to Colorado, where plenty of new adventures await!
Aside from writing, she loves role-playing games, Broadway shows, and finding the perfect beach boardwalk, preferably with a spicy chicken taco loaded with guac in hand. Visiting art galleries, navigating escape rooms, and attending concerts are other favorite pastimes.
A frequent traveler, Christine's journeys have taken her to incredible destinations, near and far. San Diego remains a favorite. While visiting there, Christine loves getting jump scared by her 12-year-old on the Gaslamp Quarter Ghost Walking Tour and sampling some of the city's best pasta on the Little Italy Food Walking Tour with Tastings. Her favorite San Diego pastime? Watching the pelicans dive bomb at Imperial Beach while planning her next family adventure.
When she's not tapping away at her keyboard or building her next character sheet, Christine is hanging out with her family and rescue pup. Whether throwing frisbees to her pup on Ocean Beach or Coronado Island or hunting down the fluffiest hotel pillows at the US Grant or the Fairmont Grand Del Mar, she's all about making memories and planning her family's next great adventure together.
Christine's travel philosophy? “Pack light, smile often, and never underestimate the power of a well-timed blue raspberry snow cone break. Oh, and find the best places to rest your head at night. If you're in San Diego, the Pendry and Tower23 come highly recommended!
