With the races taking place on Mission Bay, there are a few locations to choose from where you’ll be able to take in all the action. If you’re like me and my family, then a clear view of the water is all you’ll need.
With that in mind though, there are a couple spots that will also give you the ability to check out the boats, wander through a car show, catch a cornhole tournament, and more!
Free Shuttle
There is a free shuttle service that runs throughout the weekend every 15 minutes from 6:00am until 5:30pm that will take you to any of the main locations.
How Do I Get to San Diego Bayfair?
To get to San Diego Bayfair 2025 you need to head to Mission Bay. The best viewing and activity locations will be located at Crown Point South and Vacation Isle with economy parking options located on Fiesta Island.
Let’s explore how to best get to each location!
How to Get to Crown Point South
If you’re interested in the Best of the West jet ski course, the Hydro Flight course for the Hydro Games, the Low Rider show on Saturday, Southern California Street Rods Car show on Sunday, or even the cornhole tournament, then you’ll want to head to Crown Point South.
Crown Point Dr. runs basically north to south from Pacific Beach down the peninsula into Mission Bay. If you’re driving in from North County or Downtown San Diego on the 5, take the Garnet Ave. exit which then turns into Balboa Ave. as you head towards the beach. I suggest taking a left on Ingraham St. and taking that all the way to Crown Point Drive. If there are road closures, just follow the signs which will guide you right to the parking lot.
How to Get to Vacation Isle
Vacation Isle and the Ski Beach area in particular will feature vendors, a beer garden, the corporate hospitality area, the H1 pits, excellent viewing of the Limited Boats start and finish line, and more.
If you’re coming in from the south, take W. Mission Bay Dr. to Ingraham St. past SeaWorld San Diego across the bridges to Vacation Isle. From Pacific Beach, take Ingraham St. across the bridge right to Vacation Isle.
How to Get to Fiesta Island
Fiesta Island is the third location to head to which features a large general parking lot, a bus stop, and multiple RV lots along Mission Bay. I’d say this is the affordable parking option where you’ll want to grab the shuttle bus to the other two locations to be in the thick of the action.
Fiesta Island is located on the east side of Mission Bay with the only road headed in onto Fiesta Island Rd. connecting to Mission Bay Dr.. If you’re coming in from Downtown, I suggest that you take Pacific Hwy all the way north which turns into Mission Bay Dr.
RV Parking
There are RV spots on Crown Point, East Vacation Island and Fiesta Island. Each location is offering four and five night packages which generally include a few 3-Day Super Passes and space to park your tow vehicle if not more.
Prices range from $500 on Fiesta Island up to $1,625 for the premium experience on East Vacation Island. There’s a form to fill out on Bayfair’s website to request a space and a note that there may be additional spaces available through the Bayfair office that are not available online. You can also try calling them at 858-578-7454.
If you can’t get a spot at the event, check out our article on RV camping in San Diego for more great places to park your RV around the city.
