Fun Games at Mission Bayfest Reggae Music Festival
Fun Games at Mission Bayfest Reggae Music Festival

Now that you know all about the festival, let me share a few more local tips so you can ensure that your experience is incredible.

General Information

The big thing to know here is that this is a cashless venue, so come prepared.

Also, kids are allowed, but they have to be with an adult. The Mission Bayfest Reggae Festival is a rain or shine event, and all sales are final. So, if rain is in the forecast, bring a poncho.

What Items are Allowed?

  • Blankets
  • Refillable water bottles (must not be glass, and under 24 oz.)
  • One small/medium-sized backpack
  • Non-Professional, point & shoot cameras (attached lenses must be smaller than 2 inches)

What Items are Prohibited?

  • Pets, only service animals allowed
  • Coolers
  • Professional recording equipment
  • Drones

For a complete list of allowed and prohibited items, check the event website.

Finally, I would suggest dressing in layers, as San Diego weather can be warm in the afternoon, with a little chill in the air in the evening.
